I happened upon this little beauty the other day and knew I needed to have her, just like any woman needs a perfect LBD (or little black dress). When she arrived, well, lets just say it was lust/love at first sight.
Presenting, without any further delay, little miss Love Me Mini in Black Crash (by Belen Echandia, of course). Note the leather-it is textured and slightly shiny, and according to BE, virtually indestructable.

Here are a few more shots-up close so you can see the leather better….
And a few of the inside and with all of my stuff in and out so you can see how spacious this little gem is. I am still drooling over the silver hardware, the fuschia lining, and the super cool laced handles!

This bag also comes with a detachable messenger strap, which I love since who knows when you may need both hands during a situation. The only thing I might change on this bag is to add magnetic snap closures to the top, but apparently Jackie at BE has already incorporated this into the new LMmini bags.

Ah yes, my obsession with purses has led my family to give me the above name. However, I think I have a long way to go before I earn this title, so maybe handbag duchess would be more fitting for the time being.
That being said, I have a new love in the handbag category, and that brand is………..
Belen Echandia (doesnt that name just intrigue you?)
The brand summed in one word= perfection. Here is my latest handbag muse (she should be on her way within the next month-I am so excited! The only difference is that mine has silver hardware, and not gold).
Belen Echandia Love Me Midi in Cobalt Sheen. Sigh.

If you find yourself weakening at the knees, do not be alarmed. Check out this brand for yourself-you will not be dissapointed. As commanded by the Queen

I have found that lately my fashion choices have been both practical and functional (my Nana would be proud). During times like these, it seems silly not to be a little practical.
Here is my latest acquisition-the Aconcagua Vest from The North Face. Perfect for me for work, pre and post yoga, dog walks, shopping outings, and whatever other mischief I can get into in between. I got 2 colors because I couldn’t choose-thank goodness backcountry.com has a great return program! And the price-couldn’t beat it! $80.00 with free shipping!

Surprisingly, it is not an overly puffy vest for being as warm as it is. And they do run large and long, so if you are a shorty like me, look into sizing down quite a bit.

This is the reaction I get when I say those 6 magic words.
This look of course is rapidly followed by excited 360 degree spins and mini bounces. I wonder how he feels about walks? Hmm……;-)

It’s about time I updated this place, and since I am home stuffed up with a sinus infection, this seemed like a good time to do so.
My little buddy is always by my side, especially when I am sick. He lays under my feet at my desk, and on the end of the bed when I sleep. He is getting older, even though he doesnt act like it, so I decided to try to have him model for me.

He just makes me smile
Time to take him out for a little walk/sniff/pee session. It’s the little things in life like this that make each day so special with him.
